1 - APPLYING FOR A MOORING PERMIT Application Process: The following documents are required by our office before your vessel may be considered for a slip. Your application date begins when ALL documents and fees have been received by our office. Recreational Permit Commercial Permit Commercial Fishing Permit 1. Completed Application 1. Other Documents may be Requested 2 - Offer of Moorage If our office determines that appropriate accommodations can be made for your vessel at the time of your application, you will receive an offer for moorage which you will have 7 days to accept. If you accept moorage, you must obtain your mooring permit from the harbor office BEFORE moving your vessel into the harbor. 3 - Wait List If our office determines that we cannot offer moorage for your vessel at the time of your application, you will be placed on a waiting list. Priority on the list will be determined by the date of receipt of COMPLETED application and fee. 4 - Executing Your Permit In order for your permit to be fully active, the following steps must be taken IN ORDER:
5 - Maintaining Your Permit As the permittee, you are responsible for supplying harbor office staff with UPDATED documentation. You are required by the conditions of your mooring permit to keep ALL DOCUMENTS CURRENT. Be aware of expiration dates on documents in your file and be certain to provide copies of new documents. Failure to maintain current documents in your file such as insurance, C.O.D., C.O.I. or state registration may result in non-renewal of your mooring permit. 6 - Renewing Your Permit Please visit the harbor office 30 days before your permit expires if renewing an annual commercial or fishery permit.
